More Car Features + Spawn Zones Expansion
This mod does a lot of things vehicle related, I encourage you to read the full list below!
More vehicle spawn zones in unique places, not just lame old vanilla parking lots. You will find more corpses inside of cars, get used to dragging them out. Additionally, climbing on some vehicles is possible! [WIP Mod for B42 Only]
- Adds vehicle zones across the entire map (thousands of changes) including vehicles in garages, gas station, more traffic in your traffic jams, farms, and more.
- Adds a new custom vehicle spawn rate, chance to spawn burnt, damaged, and more customization in the sandbox settings.
- Spawns more corpses in cars, you'll find many on your journey.
- Some vehicle zone types, like parking lots, can spawn vehicles facing in random directions to simulate the first wave of chaos.
- Adds the ability to climb onto some vehicles (has keybind options/can be disabled in sandbox settings), is compatible with ALL Vanilla and MOST KI5 vehicles!
HATCH/SUNROOF: Hop into the corresponding seat under the emergency hatch and press the UP arrow key, that will bring you to the vehicle roof outside. Press the DOWN arrow key to re-enter the vehicle back into the same seat. You cannot fall off unless you choose to by pressing either the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys.
NORMAL: Press the UP arrow key while looking at and near a vehicle, this will teleport you to the top. Press the DOWN arrow key to disable the invisible barrier and jump off.
HYBRIDS: Hybrid vehicles are vehicles that looks like they should be both climbable AND have a hatch/sunroof! They use a mix of the controls depending on the context. There aren't many hybrid types, but this would be a great find!
- Improves junkyards and traffic jams by adding back wrecked vehicles, removal of random parts, and rebalanced vehicle qualities.
- Automatically opens the car door and opens your proximity inventory when faced with too many items in a vehicle seat you tried to sit in from the outside (helps with taking corpses out). BUT, if there is at least one other seat that isn't the driver seat that is empty enough to fit those items on it (fully empty for a corpse), then it will transfer those items automatically for you to sit in.
- Adds a TWD reference, a flipped prison bus in Rosewood (if you have the correct KI5 vehicle mod enabled), there's more potential here (WIP).
SANDBOX SETTINGS
- General spawn rate defaults to vanilla if no value is entered. Junkyards, traffic jams, and special traffic jams ignore this setting.
- Spawn rate for special traffic jams (otherwise recognized as bumper to bumper traffic) is defaulted to 100, but the vanilla Vehicle Spawn Rate value slightly alters it.
- Random Vehicle Angles is a toggle for if some specific types of car zones, such as parking lots and ambulances, will be rotated around at random. Basically, it is a slight immersion thing.
- Corpses Spawning in Vehicles is a toggle for more corpses in car seats and ambulances (higher chance).
- The Traffic Jams in LV toggle enables or disables all the new traffic jams I added in LV specifically.
- The ability to turn all vehicle zones into burnt wrecks, completely configurable at a set rate.
- The ability to completely customize the quality of cars you find for all vehicle zones.
- The ability to turn off the climbable vehicles addon.
