Vanilla Foods Expanded
Vanilla Foods Expanded adds over 1700 new foods, recipes and evolved recipes that are similar in style and use to base game.
You can find:
- Canned foods, such as meats, vegetables, fruits, soup, stew and bait
- Jars and new canning recipes
- Herbs, spices and seasonings
- Sauces, relishes and dressings
- Pantry staples, snacks, candy and breakfast foods
- Desserts, such as cake mixes and pudding
- Fresh fruit and vegetables
- Fresh meat and seafood
- Fridge and freezer foods
- Beverages
- New recipes and evolved recipes
Vanilla spawn rates remain the same, there won’t be an overwhelming amount of food in the world, just a lot more variety. 3D models have been created for every item.
A spooky little update has arrived, we’ve added in over 200 new items and recipes to Vanilla Foods Expanded, featuring over 130 new types of candy, 12 new flavors of pie, new sausage varieties (including convenient four-packs), meatballs and canned goods to stock up your pantry.
We’ve added spice racks, so you can finally organize and all of those Vanilla Foods Expanded spices properly! And we’ve added in butchering support - so your butchered animals will now also drop Vanilla Foods Expanded meat!
Fitting the theme of fall, this update brings a haul of sweet treats and seasonal staples for your survivor. Plan a harvest feast, and stock up for winter. We’ve got something delicious for everyone. Check out the wiki for a full list of new items!
This update is entirely compatible with existing saves, explore a new area to find the new items, and level up your carpentry to craft a spice rack.

- Find recipe books scattered throughout your world that unlock new cooking possibilities, letting you create authentic, home cooked meals
- Pour it into a bowl, or make it into a plate - a lot of recipes can be dished up into individual servings
- Baking! Start with convenient box mixes for a quick and tasty treat, then progress to learning recipes that allow you to bake everything from scratch
- Craft new evolved recipes, including casseroles, curry, lasagna, loaded baked potatoes, nachos, chili, ramen, milkshakes, fried rice and dozens more!
- Season your creations with an extensive collection of herbs, spices and seasoning blends, to perfect every dish
- Craft countless homemade versions of common items and base game items
Can be added to an existing save, just be mindful that areas already explored won't have the new loot. As far as we've tested, it can be safely removed from a save, just be mindful you will lose all Vanilla Foods Expanded loot.

This mod cannot be modified by anyone else, for anything else, at all, ever. Even if the user disappears, he or she would much rather you didn't touch the fruits of their hard labour. You are not allowed to repack this mod under any circumstances, ever.
